100 Days of Ellie: Day 42

In just the past few days C has figured out when and how to get Ellie smiling. These photos are the proof; even more important because these are the things I miss when I'm at work. I've got a feeling that C can make this happen because she is with Ellie so much and has won her trust and love; that's not to sound so self-deprecating, but I'll admit I am a bit jealous. But even when I am home I can see how C has a really special and exciting way of interacting with Ellie that just comes natural to her--something that takes much more effort for me to do. Either way, Ellie is smiling more, vocalizing more, holding herself up more, and getting so big every day, and I couldn't be more proud
